Machining Overview

Our full-service machine shop allows Taskmaster Technologies to deliver complete, turnkey coating and hardfacing solutions. By managing machining, preparation, and finishing in-house, we streamline production, enhance quality control, and ensure each component is optimized for its specific coating or hard surfacing application.

We provide both CNC and manual machining, including:

  • CNC Turning and Milling: High-precision machining for complex geometries, tight tolerances, and repeatable results
  • Manual Turning and Milling: Flexible solutions for unique, one-off, or difficult-to-fixture components

From initial material removal to final inspection and finishing, our integrated approach supports a wide range of parts and projects with efficiency, consistency, and dependable turnaround times. This ensures your components are ready for PTA, HVOF, Wire Arc, or other surface treatments, with dimensional accuracy and surface quality optimized for long-term performance.

Machining Capacity

Taskmaster Technologies offers a comprehensive machining capability, combining CNC precision with manual flexibility to support a wide range of components, from standard parts to complex, one-off projects. This allows us to prepare parts for coatings, hardfacing, or final assembly with tight tolerances, precise geometries, and consistent quality.

CNC Turning

  • Nakamura Tome SC-450LL
  • OKUMA LB45II-3000: 3-meter bed, 10.5″ through spindle
  • OKUMA LB45II-2000: 2-meter bed, 10.5″ through spindle

CNC Milling

  • Haas VF7/50: XYZ travels of 84″ x 32″ x 30”

Manual Turning

  • Stanko lathes (x2): 28″ swing, 120″ center-to-center

Manual Milling

  • KLOPP Heavy Duty Universal Milling Machine: Capable of handling large or unusual applications, providing versatility for custom or one-off components
